We love this cute little store and the surrounding views are worth checking this out!
We just recently visited here and it was such a beautiful overlook! There is also an FDR statue there. We hope you'll take a drive there to see this beautiful spot!
We love this store, it also has a restaurant where you can eat and enjoy the nice view! Across the street from this store is also an overlook, highly recommend checking it out! This store is open from 8am-3pm.
There is so much to explore here, especially since our wedding weekend is the opening of Fantasy in Lights. If you have extra time and can explore the gardens and all that Callaway Gardens has to offer- we highly recommend.
Now a National Historic Landmark, Franklin Delano Roosevelt built the Little White House in 1932 while governor of New York, prior to being inaugurated as president in 1933. He first came to Warm Springs in 1924 hoping to find a cure for the infantile paralysis (polio) that had struck him in 1921. Swimming in the 88-degree, buoyant spring waters brought him no miracle cure, but it did bring improvement. During FDR’s presidency and the Great Depression, he developed many New Deal Programs (such as the Rural Electrification Administration) based upon his experiences in this small town.
This downtown area of Pine Mountain has antique stores as well as some places to eat!
Some very good food if you're looking for a place to eat!
One of our favorite places to get BBQ!
