We're getting married!

Jacob and Krysten’s story began in March 2017, when they matched on Tinder. Jacob made the first move with a silly joke, which, at the time, didn’t quite win Krysten over. The next morning, Jacob reached out, apologizing for the joke and wanting to make a better impression. Krysten appreciated his sincerity, so she decided to keep the conversation going. As they talked more, they discovered something incredible: they both went to Cactus High School! Though they had never crossed paths back then, they quickly realized they shared more than just a local connection. Jacob, at the time, was serving in the United States Navy and was stationed in Bremerton, Washington, while Krysten was living in Glendale, Arizona attending college. Despite the distance, they began texting, talking on the phone, and FaceTiming regularly, growing closer with each conversation. By July 2017, Jacob decided to take a leap of faith and drove down to Arizona to meet Krysten in person. The moment they saw each other, it was clear: this was something special. From there, the relationship blossomed. Over the years, they've built a strong foundation of friendship, laughter, and shared values. Through life’s challenges and joys, they knew they were meant to be together. Now, after all the years of building a life they’re proud of, they’re thrilled to begin this next chapter of their journey—together, forever.
