In the super adorable way...online. The first time they talked was after the TX/OU game in 2015. Coincidentally, they had both been at the state fair that day cheering on their respective teams! Their romantic rivalry started then. But that day, Texas won! However, they wouldn't win again until another special day in their relationship. On their first date, which almost didn't happen, they met at Little Woodrow's in Houston. Thank goodness Krystal showed up, after a work meeting that night she was invited out with a group of girls and thought about not going on the date. Seth being the gentleman had shown up early and texted Krystal to let her know he was inside. Aren't we all glad they both decided to show up and talk for hours? :)

Seth and Krystal go to the Red River Rivalry each year, (that is the OU vs Texas football game in Dallas). They had bought tickets on the Texas side this year and were excited for the game! They arrived early and promptly went about sampling the State Fair's finest items: corn dogs and cold beer. They truly indulged in all the State Fair's treasures before heading into the game. They arrived at their seats right as the bands were performing their pre-game performance. Krystal was asking a question about the band and looked over at Seth for the answer. Seth was down on one knee! From there the dialogue went as follows: Seth: "Will you marry me?" Krystal: "How did you do this?" Seth: "That wasn't what I asked. Try again." Krystal: "YES! But, how did you do this?" Seth clearly surprised Krystal and she was shocked that everyone had kept it a secret. Luckily a stranger next to them yelled for them to not move and grabbed Krystal's cell phone. She captured some amazing pictures that they are so glad to have! Krystal was also excited that Texas won and Seth was happy that even though his team lost, he won a wife!
