Leadville is one of Krystal and Rio's favorite towns. It became a tradition to stop and grab some coffee or look around the shops when traveling to Colorado for skiing. Leadville really became special after the bus broke down in Camp Hale. While Moezy was being doctored, they got to spend a little extra time checking out the town. During this surprise staycation they ended up booking a cabin at FREIGHT (our wedding venue) and the staff were so kind and accommodating. During this stay Rio found out it was also a wedding venue.. and well, the rest is history. Can't wait to share Leadville with all of you!
There is not a hotel block reserved for the wedding. If you are coming for the day and night of the wedding only, staying at FREIGHT would be really convenient! Ask Krystal or Rio about booking a cabin at the venue. If you are looking to stay a little longer, it is recommended to get an Airbnb or a hotel in the area. You can also check out Buena Vista.. it's only about 40 minutes away.
Krystal and Rio are planning to arrive a few days early to enjoy Leadville. You can come early too and check out the area on your own or join them for some pre-wedding activities.

Leadville’s elevation is about 10,000ft!! Be mindful in preventing altitude sickness if you live at lower elevations. Drink lots of water and take it easy the first day of your arrival. There are several oxygen bars if you’re interested hehe.
