Raleigh is often referred to as the Smithsonian of the South. There are several free museums in the area. Some of our favorite places to visit are The NC Museum of Natural Sciences & The NC Museum of Art. We love to visit the NC State Famers Market. It is packed full of local vendors selling fresh produce, flowers, & crafts! Another one of our favorite places to visit is the Raleigh Municipal Rose Garden. This garden features 1,200 roses!!
