Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you know if you can attend our wedding or not. October 31st, 2024 will be the deadline. RSVP right here on our wedding website! (click RSVP tab on the top right)

Question

Can I bring a date/friend?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend you arrive around 2:30 PM (ceremony starts at 3:00 PM) to make sure everyone is seated on time. Please don't be late :-)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! For our friends and family with children, you should be able to indicate whether or not the kiddos will be tagging along when you RSVP.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome brunch January 9th, 2025. We are still finalizing the location and details of this event. Please check in later in the 'schedule' tab above for final arrangements for our welcome brunch.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to "Travel" section of our website for a listing of nearby hotels and airbnb options near our venue.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in a more insulated area of the Santa Clara Ruins. Afterwards the reception will take place outdoors. Guatemalan evenings can be a bit cool, so ladies be sure to bring a shawl/sweater just in case! There will also be grass so maybe skip the stilettos :)

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Renting a car will not be necessary unless you want to visit towns outside of Antigua. Most places in Antigua are easy to get via Uber/walking.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Most hotels listed in our traveling section are a few blocks away from our venue, so you can take a nice stroll over on our wedding day! Uber is also an option if you're a little further out. We won't have to worry about drinking and driving :)

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a block with Porta Hotel. Please refer to the travel section for more information/booking. We've also listed a few other boutique hotels and Airbnb's around the area as well.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you turn off all cell phones and cameras to be present with us during the ceremony. Don't worry the photographers/videographers will get all the right angles!

Question

What's the weather like in antigua?

Answer

You can expect beautiful sunny weather almost every day. Temps can range from a high of 81°F (27°C) to a low of 58°F (14°C). It can get chilly at night so be sure to pack a sweater or two.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer
