Even though we attended separate colleges until junior year, we committed to each other through various road trips and long nights on the phone. I would never say that it was easy; but side by side, we embraced the challenges and adventures that college life had to offer. Throughout those college years, we enjoyed countless unforgettable and very forgettable memories, from late-night study sessions to late-night partying. One of which I should have done more than the other. As we walked across the stage on graduation day, we were not only celebrating our academic achievements but also the growth of our love and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. After a year back home in South Florida, we decided that it was time for a new adventure. I tell people that I picked Chicago, and she picked Denver...so here we are in Denver. I wouldn't have it any other way. In the Mountain West, we grew not only as individuals but also as a couple, learning the importance of compromise, patience, and unwavering support. It was here, in Aspen, where I asked her to be my wife. And now, as we stand on the precipice of our wedding day, we reflect on the incredible journey that led us here. From our fateful meeting in high school to this very moment as I type this letter, our love has flourished and deepened with each passing year.
