Are masks mandatory?

Answer

No. As the ceremony as well as the reception will be taking place outdoors, masks are not required. However, in order to use the restroom facilities indoors, masks will be provided.

We are happy to update that gathering sizes have increased, which means our guest list has also been able to increase. Please note that in order for us to be able to have everybody we wish to attend, the ceremony and the reception will now both be taking place outdoors. Just as we have made the decision to proceed with our wedding, we understand that some may make the decision not to attend. We respect your decisions and want all of our invitees to feel comfortable. If you are not able to attend, please know you will still be with us in spirit. And just for good measure, if you or anyone close to you is experiencing any Covid related symptoms, we kindly ask that you do not attend and please let us know if you have already RSVP'd. We apologize for some of the quick turn around times, and we appreciate your patience as we have been navigating these uncertain times. Are kids invited to the wedding?

As much as we love all your little people, due to social gathering restrictions, it will be an adult only evening. We hope you can come and enjoy the night as much as we will.* *excludes our niece and nephews

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

What's the dress code?

Anything from garden or cocktail attire, to semi formal please. But most importantly, we want you to be comfortable.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

No. The ceremony is at Awenda Provincial Park and the reception is at Captain Robert's Table at Discovery Harbour, which is about 20 minutes from the ceremony location.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Most things we need we've already got, and in our apartment we can't fit a lot. While your presence is the greatest present of all, if you're thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our first home, honeymoon road trip or canoe would really make our day. However, if you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way.
