When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love as soon as you know, but we need everything settled by August 15 (the last date to book a hotel in our block).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We don't know about you, but we are looking for a reason to dress up. So put on your finest! Dress code is formal to semi-formal. No jeans, please! Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception are outdoor if the weather is nice -- so heals are not recommended unless you like airraiding the grass :) Also, if it is cold, bring something warm to throw on. October 2 is up in the air weather-wise. If it rains, we plan to move everything indoors. No tents will be present.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Are children attending the wedding?

Answer

No. We absolutely love our little ones and it was such a difficult decision to make, but we wanted to prioritize the safety of those who could not be vaccinated in addition to the schools and daycares that they would return to. In addition to COVID-19, there are also venue safety issues such as an open indoor pool and open fire pits that put our nieces, nephews, both bio and honorary at risk.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The hotel is just 4 minutes from the venue so driving shouldn't be too much of an issue. There is a free parking lot on the grounds.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have dinner buffet style so there should be lots of options, but we also want to make sure our guests are safe and well-fed. Let us know by August 15 and we can make a request to our wonderful caterers.

How long should we stay in town?

Answer

However long you want! Our hotel block does not have a minimum night restriction. We plan on staying at the hotel Saturday night to have fun at the 24-hour pool after the big party. Sunday is a day of rest and we plan to enjoy it. Staying in town a little longer? Let us know. We can't guarantee we will be available but we love you all so we will try our hardest!

What are COVID-19 requirements by you or for the wedding?

Answer

We are extremely pro-vaccination and recommend that everyone do so before the wedding. Currently there are no restrictions or requirements for vaccinated guests. However, if you are not vaccinated, let us know and we can help coordinate anything that may come up as cases climb from the summer surge. Testing may be something that our venue or county will require as we get closer to the date.
