Wedding Party

Meet this special group of individuals who have always been there for us. We'll take their love and words of wisdom with us as we walk down the aisle.

Donna & Paul Kucinski

Parents of the Bride

As blessed and proud parents, we ask, where did the years go? Our adorable baby girl has grown in to the most beautiful, generous, loving, and caring woman, and dog mom for Maggie! As her Mom-Mom always said, she is our “Beauty”. Our prayer for her has always been for her to be happy, healthy, and for her to find someone that loves her (and loves Penn State as much as she does)! Our prayers have been answered! It is truly meant to be…a Penn State, Mets, and Rangers fan...Wow! Seriously, Tom has quickly become part of our family. We absolutely love him, and we could not have asked for a better second son, and husband for our daughter! We see their true love, and know that their lives will be filled with many blessings and bliss. May God continue to bless them both!

Eileen & Ronald Leverich

Parents of the Groom

Eileen & Ron Leverich are Thomas’s proud parents. He is a kind & loving young man who loves sports, playing games, music & dancing. Krysta is his perfect match! They complement each other so well. We are thrilled to have Krysta join our family, and we are convinced they will have a beautiful life together. May God bless them always.

Lindsay Hooper

Matron of Honor

Krysta just gets it and she has for as long as I’ve known her. She can find the joke when no one else can, and whether she means to be or not, she’s one of the funniest people I know. She and I walked the length of our neighborhood during lockdown, and as such, I’m honored to be “one of Maggie’s mommies.” Tom was the best addition to our bubble, and I knew instantly that my husband would finally have another boy to play with. I’m thrilled to stand beside Krysta and Tom on their wedding day. I know their love will meet each other wherever they are. I love you both.

Bryan Ecock

Groomsman

I've known Tom for quite a while now. His sister, Ronni, brought that beautiful chin into my life over 15 years ago. I believe the sun shined a little brighter that day - Jets had a good draft and the Mets won a game. Tom is a loving, caring, fun and loyal friend. Tom's been there to watch my dogs, help lend me a hand, or help my wife fleece me in a fantasy trade. He's a great friend and I've been blessed getting to watch him grow over the years. I'm so happy he found a Wendy to his Peter Pan; Not the old lady one in Hook, the cartoon one (better fit for Tom). She's the Woody to his Buzz Lightyear. I'm grateful to get to see how happy my friend is and be a part of his special day. May him and Krysta have a blessed marriage full of love, joy and happiness. Love you both.

Jackie Cusumano

Bridesmaid

Before I met Krysta, I met her dog Maggie. I had just moved to Astoria and despite my fear of dogs, I hopped in to the elevator with Maggie and the MoH (Lindsay), and the rest is history. Krysta is an amazing friend and neighbor. When Tom came into the picture, I knew he was the one! I'm not sure how often you meet another person who ALSO flushes tomato sauce down the toilet! Tom and Krysta are the perfect balance for each other, and I'm so excited to be a part of their big day! My advice to the couple would be to always appreciate each other in everything you do!

Thomas Vitola

Groomsman

I’ve known Tom for the better part of 20 years now. Thomas is my twin, my brother and a fellow gem of a human being. Through our many years of friendship and love of so many of the same things (it’s actually scary sometimes how alike we are). We have shared so many so many great memories together, road trips, ball games and random adventures. Tom has a heart of gold and so happy that Krysta has come along to fill it with love and happiness. I’m truly honored to be a part of his special day. Tom is one of the best friends anyone can have and I’m so lucky to have him in my life. Looking forward to all the memories to come. Advice for Tom and Krysta, continue to date each other no matter what life changes there may be and you will enjoy a lifetime of joy, love and happiness. You deserve it all!

Ronni Leverich

Bridesmaid

I’ve known Thomas his whole life. As his older sister, I’ve watched him grow up to become the gregarious, kind, competitive person everyone knows and loves. When Tom told me he had met someone who was fun, social, and was just as passionate about the Mets and Penn State as he is (possibly even more) it sounded like a perfect match. Even if she did live all the way in Astoria! The more I got to know Krysta, the more I knew she was the right girl for Thomas. For as much as they had in common, they also complemented each other really well. She loves to plan and he loves to have plans! My advice for the couple is to find the joy in compromising and make new traditions with each other.

Paul Kucinski

Groomsman

As Krysta’s younger brother, I’ve always looked up to her and admired how thoughtful, honest, and compassionate she is. When Krysta first told me about the new guy she was seeing a few years ago, I was pretty skeptical (as most brothers should be). But when she introduced me to Tom for the first time, and he brought a deck of cards and a board game into the bar to break the ice and have some fun, I could immediately see that they were a perfect fit for each other. With his fun, energetic, and authentic personality, Tom has been a wonderful addition to our family and I couldn’t ask for a better brother-in-law, and husband for my sister. Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!

Ariana Caprio

Bridesmaid

I have known Krysta since I was in 6th grade, 10 years old, but we grew a friendship as we got older. Krysta, to know her is to love her dearly. She has the warmest heart and would do anything for those she loves. Collaboration, in words of my Nonna, as simple as it sounds - just talk, talk through everything - collaborate honestly and you can not go wrong. Love you both!

Sal Lombardo

Groomsman

I want to start by saying brothers don't always come from the same mother. Tom is not just my boy, he's my family and we are happy to have Krysta join in on the fun. Who knew the kid in my Italian class freshman year of high school would turn out to be one of my life long best friends. From hanging out in Brooklyn, working together, playing on the same softball team together, I've seen you hit a lot of good shots Tom but this one with Krysta was a home run. I appreciate you for asking me to be a part of this special day in your life. You've always been there for me no matter the time of day, morning or night you always come through for me and I'll always be grateful for you. This is just another chapter in your life. We will always be brothers. You can always count on me to be there for you. I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness and a lot of double dates. Love, Sal

Maggie

Pup of Honor

Before I met my mom, I was just known as the “Red Collar Girl”. But my mom knew all along that my name would be Maggie. I was so happy to move to Astoria when Mom, Uncle Paul, and Mom-Mom drove me all the way home from Rochester. I always knew that I was absolutely the luckiest Doodle, to have the best dog mom ever. She loves me so much, takes the best care of me, and takes me to all of my favorite places: Bar Dalia, Halsey's and the "country house". Mom and I love our playtime together - and she will even get the tennis ball for me, every time I “accidentally” roll it under the table! I did not think I could be any happier or loved any more than that. But then it happened! Mom and I met Tom, and we both fell in love with him! Now I am going to have 2 dog parents that take such good care of me and love me so much! I can’t wait until Mom and Tom are married and we are a family! I am excited for all the games and the good times that are waiting for the 3 of us!
