Here are all of the common questions we have been getting about our event. If there are any more questions or concerns, please contact the bride or groom directly so the issue can be resolved together.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is November 1st, 2025. If there are extenuating circumstances that causes you to not know until sooner, please contact the bride or groom directly so arrangements can be made.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is here on our wedding website on Zola. If you go up to the top of the webpage, go to the menu and click on "Registry." That should lead you right to the registry page.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should plan to arrive at 6:00pm. The bride recommends you plan to arrive 5:50pm in case any problems arise or there is traffic. We want to make sure you enjoy every minute of this celebration possible.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Men can wear a tuxedo, but a dark suit and tie is also acceptable. For women, full-length dresses are appropriate, but cocktail dresses are also acceptable if they are more glamorous than a typical semi-formal dress. Cocktail dresses can include embellishments and sparkly accents. Women can also wear a flashy suit in a dark tone. Dark or rich hues like black, gray, navy, or jewel tones are good choices. Solid colors are recommended over patterns.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless specifically stated on your wedding invitation, please reach out to the bride and groom directly, BEFORE the RSVP deadline, about any additional guests.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children under the age of 16 and/or are not specifically invited by invitation are not to attend our wedding. The bride and groom want the guests who are parents to have the night off, relax, and have fun.

Do you have a hotel room block for the wedding or any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The official hotel for the wedding is the Courtyard Somerset at 250 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, NJ 08873. The hotel's phone number to inquire about booking a room in our block is (732)-271-4555. If you go up to the top of the webpage, go to the menu and click on "Travel" the hotel information will be there as well as the link directly to the hotel's website. The "Travel" page also has information of other hotels in the area and their website links.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! A space for letting the bride and groom know about specific food allergies should be on the RSVP cards as well as the "RSVP" tab of the menu above. If you still feel uneasy, please reach out to the bride and groom directly so we can make sure you are fed. The bride especially, who herself has food allergies that have been flared at previous events, is very passionate about this.

Are there any food options for people who do not eat meat?

Answer

Yes, of course! There is a vegan meal option available upon request.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking. When entering the main drive of The Palace at Somerset Park you will be directed to the parking lot for the West Ballroom. There will be special parking for guests of this wedding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle taking guests to the Courtyard Somerset (the main hotel for the wedding) ONLY AFTER the wedding is concluded at the end of the night. There will be no shuttle or transportation to the venue from the Courtyard Somerset. There will be no shuttle or transportation to or from the venue to any other hotel. Due to the fact that the venue and hotels are right in the middle of Somerset (near Rutgers campus as well as an urban area) Uber, Lyft, and taxi services should be plentiful.
