Just days later, on July 8th, they shared their first official date—and something between them quietly shifted. From that moment on, their journey together had truly begun. Even with miles between them, their love only grew deeper. Their time together, though often brief, felt like scenes from a romantic movie. They floated in hot air balloons above Temecula’s golden vineyards, wandered hand-in-hand through Little Italy, danced under chandeliers at the Ball, got their hands dirty as farmers in Escondido, shared quiet snowy mornings in Big Bear, and watched flames flicker in the Hawaiian night. Each moment stitched together a tapestry of memories, rich with laughter, connection, and love. With every goodbye came the growing certainty that their lives were meant to be intertwined—not just in heart, but in place. And so, with courage and hope, Casey left Virginia behind and moved to California to be with Jake. Living together turned beautiful moments into everyday magic. On July 18th, 2024, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Botanic Gardens, Jake asked Casey the question his heart had been holding for so long.
