Lexi had just moved to Cleveland with her boyfriend of 5 years (gasp). She had no idea what she wanted to do career-wise, applied to what felt like everything, and eventually someone gave her a shot. In walks Mark Krusinski Sr. and Emerald Resource Group. Fast forward to a company outing. Mark Jr. had a moment of “woah… this girl is really cool.” At the next company outing, Lexi confided in Mark that she was breaking up with her boyfried. He didn’t exactly celebrate because Lexi was upset… but there was definitely a small internal cheer. Mark wasn’t expecting anything to happen right away… but he also didn’t think he’d have to wait 8 months to get his shot. Not wanting to freak Lexi out or put too much pressure on her, he got really good at planning “casual” hangouts… usually waiting until the last minute so they didn’t feel like actual dates. Finally, in August, they made it official. And then a little over a year later, on 10/18/25, Mark popped the big question at his family's annual clambake, the rest is history!
