We met as Poultry Science Freshmen and became close friends in a small group of 8 freshmen that we liked to call The Bird Nerds.

Nik had been planning the proposal for months! He honestly started his plan way back in June of 2018. Nik had been saying from then that his dad wanted to get family photos and wanted me to be in the pictures as well. After several mentions of these "Family Photos" through out the year Nik finally gave me a the date of April, 20th 2019. As a bonus he had scheduled a "Senior Photo Shoot" with my close friends as well. Pulling up to the Antique Rose Emporium in Nik meets myself, Taylor and Devon (Bridesmaids) in the parking lot and starts to lead me to the location that we will be taking photos. Winding through the garden Nik finally lead me to a beautiful gazebo where he gets on one knee and ask me if I want to make him the happiest man in the world and be his wife. Of course I said "Yes!" Both our families come out from behind a building and we celebrated with Champagne and plenty of actual family photos. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
