If you are into football, there is a bears game the day after our wedding at Solider Field!
This is one of the cutest and best coffee shops. I love the fondue, and right down the street they have a sister ice cream shop just a few doors down. With the weather being cold, we also recommend the hot chocolate and honestly any of their hot drinks!
We LOVE downtown Chicago. Feel free to drive down (but you will need to find parking) or you can take the metra train! We usually go from the Geneva train stop. Some of the best places to visit in downtown Chicago are Millennium Park, Giordano's Pizza, Jeni's Ice Cream, and you can even take a stroll to Moody Bible Institute and check out Amy's Alma mater
If you are in town for the entire weekend and are looking for a nice restaurant, we had our very first date here! It's an Italian Restaurant. I (Amy) highly recommend the breadsticks with the sauce, and the cajun chicken tortellini.
This isn't necessarily an activity, but this is our home church and the campus that we interned at. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing photo, there is a white brick wall there that is a staple and an excellent backdrop;) In all seriousness, this is the church we called home for so many years. We both grew up here, worked here, and volunteered here for a long time and we will forever cherish this church and the memories it holds for us as a couple and as individuals.
If you know Dustin, you know he loves to disc golf. This is a course that he has played many times and is super close to our venue!
We love downtown Geneva. We both grew up right around there. There are a lot of local shops and restaurants to try up and down 3rd Street and State Street.
