We were both camp counselors at the theatre's camp; Lydia was the dance choreographer and Andrew was the acting teacher. While working with our coworkers Ben and Kyleigh, we developed a strong friendship, and the four of us always got together when home from college during summer and winter breaks. When COVID hit in 2020, Lydia moved home from NYC and quickly forged a pandemic bubble alliance with Andrew. After many walks, outdoor dinners (NOT dates!), and tennis matches (most of which Andrew won), Andrew gathered up the courage to ask Lydia on a real date, which went very smoothly outside of Andrew losing his car for nearly two hours. Lydia moved back to NYC a few weeks later, and during Andrew's first visit, he asked her to be his girlfriend. We spent many hours on the Amtrak visiting each other, until January 2021 when Andrew decided he would move to NYC. In June 2021, we moved into our first apartment together. Our extremely tiny apartment in the East Village was a place where we built so many memories. Despite the pests, lack of regulated air conditioning, and a couch within 10 inches of our massive TV, we had the absolute best time. After two years, we decided to move back to Philly so Lydia could attend law school. A few months later in November 2023, Andrew popped the question (and pulled off the ultimate surprise) back at The Media Theatre where our story together began. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you!
