Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Samantha Kruk and Matthew Hutchison
These are the friends and family who have supported us, laughed with us, cried with us, and cheered us on through every chapter of our lives. We’re so lucky to have them by our sides as we step into this next one together.

Kate Pfaff

Matron of Honor

Growing up, Sam and her sister, Kate, didn’t always see eye to eye (classic sibling stuff), but somewhere between borrowing clothes without asking and learning how to navigate adulthood, they became so much more than sisters—they became friends. Over the years, she’s been a voice of reason, a source of laughter, and someone Sam knows she can always count on. Sam couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her sister right there, probably fixing her veil and making sarcastic comments under her breath the whole time.

Cooper Burns

Best Man

Cooper and Matthew became friends as college roommates, and somehow didn’t kill each other. Since then, they’ve been coworkers, roommates (again), teammates, and each other’s emergency contacts more times than they’d like to admit. Through every chapter of Matthew’s life, Cooper has been there—sarcastic, loud, fiercely loyal, and probably planning a speech that walks the line between hilarious and mildly incriminating. He’s the kind of friend who always shows up and makes everything more fun. In short: the perfect Best Man.

Melissa Burns

Bridesmaid

Sam met Melissa in college when she started dating Matthew and Melissa was dating Cooper. They quickly became inseparable, sharing everyday life, big milestones, and a friendship that felt like family. From late-night talks to doing crazy stuff like skinny dipping in the lake and laughing until they literally pee their pants, their bond grew stronger with every adventure. Sam was there when Cooper proposed and proudly stood by Melissa’s side on her wedding day—moments she’ll always cherish. Even though life eventually took them to different places, Melissa has remained a constant, supportive presence. Sam is so grateful to have her as part of the bridal party on this special day.

Devin Yates

Groomsman

Devin and Matthew grew up just across the street from each other and have been inseparable since day one. From countless sleepovers to throwing some of the wildest high school parties, they’ve shared more than their fair share of trouble, including the infamous time they raced down a driveway on office roller chairs. Devin’s laugh—loud, infectious, and impossible to ignore—has been the soundtrack to all their adventures. Having Devin standing next to Matthew today feels like having a piece of home right there with him.

Hannah Hutchison

Bridesmaid

Hannah is Matthew’s older sister, and while Sam was convinced she hated her for the first few years (spoiler: she didn’t), and they’ve come a long way since then. Somewhere between family holidays, group texts, and sarcastic jokes, they’ve built a friendship that Sam truly treasures. She’s funny, fun-loving, and effortlessly entertaining, and Sam’s so excited to call her a sister and have her standing by her side on the big day.

Aidan Roaten

Groomsman

Aidan and Matthew became friends freshman year of college and sealed their bromance as sophomore-year roommates. When Matthew transferred and Aidan enlisted in the Marines, distance didn’t slow them down; they just upgraded to daily FaceTimes, endless gaming sessions, and even wrote each other letters throughout boot camp like a true long-distance couple. They’ve been roommates, coworkers, and basically soulmates in friend form ever since. Aidan is the “other husband”, and honestly, Sam is just thankful he agreed to share.

Lexi Glampe

Bridesmaid

Lexi has become such an important part of my life over the last few years, and I truly can’t imagine this season without her by my side. What started as being the plus ones of the boys’ friend group quickly turned into a genuine friendship that I value so deeply. She has been there to celebrate every major adult milestone with me, always showing up with the biggest smile, the best energy, and always making every moment even more fun. Lexi is truly the life of the party, but beyond that, she’s the kind of girlfriend you can always count on — supportive, dependable, and endlessly uplifting. I’m so grateful for the memories we’ve already made together and even more grateful to have her standing next to me on such an important day.

Danny Glampe

Groomsman

Danny and Matthew first met on Carroll’s baseball team, and at first, Danny wasn’t sure if he could stand Matthew. Freshman year was full of late nights in Matthew’s dorm, sophomore year, they were roommates, and Danny was the only one who could consistently drag Matthew out of his shell (and out of his room) in college. Even after Matthew transferred, they ended up roommates again in Waukesha. Along the way, Danny’s huge chest became legendary, so much so that the boys were genuinely intimidated to step foot in his room without permission. He may have been intimidating, but he definitely makes life a lot more fun.

Amanda Lederman

Bridesmaid

Amanda is Matthew’s oldest sister and someone Sam has always admired. From the beginning, she’s been a calming presence—gracious, thoughtful, and the kind of person who leads by quiet example. Whether it’s her comforting energy or the way she carries herself with kindness and grace, Amanda has been a role model in more ways than one. Sharing a bond over both being in the therapy field has only deepened their connection. Sam is so thankful to have her in the bridal party and even more grateful to be gaining her as a sister.

Adam May

Groomsman

Adam May and Matthew go way back to high school, bonding over cars, motorcycles, and a mutual love for pushing limits, both on the road and with their jokes. Adam’s quick wit and snark keep things interesting, especially when Sam’s around to be the occasional target. Behind all the sarcasm, he’s a loyal friend who’s ready to stand beside Matthew no matter what. We’re grateful to have Adam standing beside Matthew on this big day, celebrating not just a friendship but a brotherhood.

Cloe Belongia

Bridesmaid

Cloe is one of Sam’s closest friends and one of her partners in crime from physical therapy school. Their friendship began back in undergrad as lab partners in chemistry during COVID-19 pandemic, where they didn’t do a single lab right, but managed to form a perfect bond instead. Sweet, hilarious, and endlessly supportive, Cloe is a true light in her life and always keeps her grounded. She’s been there through the stress, the milestones, and everything in between, and Sam couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Ryan Kruk

Groomsman

Ryan is Sam’s younger brother and hands down the most laid-back, quick-witted person in the room—always observing, always five steps ahead. He typically flies under the radar, that is, until the drinks kick in. Then, the quiet observer becomes a full-blown (but lovable) menace. After years of relentlessly roasting his sister, he’s somehow scored a front-row seat to the big day. We’re just hoping the open bar survives him.

Jada White

Bridesmaid

Jada is Sam’s rock and one of her partners in crime from grad school. They spent nearly every day together over the past two years, sharing late-night study sessions, endless laughs, and the ups and downs of physical therapy school. With their shared sense of humor keeping things light even in the toughest moments, Sam honestly doesn’t think she could’ve survived the journey without Jada’s unwavering support, encouragement, and friendship. Having her by her side on the wedding day feels like the perfect way to celebrate a bond that means the world.

Jonny Thompson

Groomsman

Matthew and Jonny have been teammates, and sometimes rivals, since they were 9 years old, traveling to out-of-state baseball tournaments without their parents and creating more than a few stories that shall remain nameless. High school only added to the chaos, and even in college, Jonny made the trek from Madison to visit Matthew at Carroll whenever he could. After a few years living in Las Vegas, they lost touch for a bit, but now that Jonny’s back in Wisconsin, it’s like no time has passed at all. They’re even playing softball together again as adults - a true full-circle moment. Some friendships just pick up right where they left off, and theirs is one for the ages.

Bella Hernandez

Bridesmaid

Sam and Bella have been best friends since high school, where they bonded over basketball, long car rides, and traveling the country as teammates. Off the court, they were just as inseparable—whether it was late-night talks, making each other laugh until their stomachs hurt, or sneaking out to college parties long before either of them had any business being there. Even when Bella moved across the country to pursue law school (a move Sam is still only slightly bitter about), their friendship never skipped a beat. They’ve always pushed each other to be better, dream bigger, and stay grounded. Having Bella in the bridal party is a celebration of years of laughter, loyalty, and a bond that’s stood the test of time—and distance.

Louie

Best Boy

Louie is our sassy, goofy boy with the fluff of a Husky, the loyalty of a Shepherd, and the drama of a reality TV star. He was front and center during the proposal (because of course he was; why wouldn't he be?), and now he’s taking his rightful place as our ring bearer. Whether he’s howling for attention or side-eyeing our every move, Louie keeps life entertaining, and we wouldn’t dream of saying “I do” without giving him his moment to shine.
