Our story began at Saint Louis University during the spring semester of our sophomore year in 2018. While we had crossed paths here and there, it wasn’t until the fall of our senior year in 2019 that we found ourselves in the same friend group—and that’s when William really caught Caroline’s eye. Caroline had already been elected Sigma Chi Sweetheart before we started spending time together, and as luck would have it, William was serving as president of the fraternity at the same time. From shared events to late-night hangouts, our connection started to grow. We like to think we would have started dating sooner if it weren’t for COVID—but by August of 2020, we made it official. Since then, life has been filled with little adventures that we love sharing together: Saturday morning trips to the farmers market, trying out new restaurants around town, playing with our dog Raven, and—more recently—William’s attempt to turn Caroline into a golfer. On December 14th, 2024, William helped plan a “Christmas card photoshoot” at the Jewel Box in Forest Park for his cousin Joe and Joe’s now wife, Claire—or so Caroline was told. But as the camera clicked and William got a little more nervous, Caroline caught on. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee asking the easiest question she’s ever had to answer. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with the people we love most. Thank you for being a part of our story.
