Hi everyone! So… remember how we said we were getting married on July 18th? Cute. Adorable. We love that version of us. Well… the universe had other plans. Back in early December, we found out we’re expecting our first baby—arriving just about a month after our original wedding date 🍼🥹 Timing? Questionable. Exciting? Absolutely. After briefly considering doing it all (big wedding + newborn prep + sleep deprivation), we decided to be realistic… and a little less chaotic. So, we’ll be having a small, intimate courthouse wedding with our immediate family. BUT DON'T PANIC, no one is missing the party! The big party is still happening next summer, featuring: A vow renewal An open dance floor & one very tiny VIP guest 🩷 So in the meantime, brush up on your Spanish, start working on your stamina, and prepare yourselves… because the Mexico celebration is still ON—and honestly, it might be even better now. Trust us, it’ll be worth the wait 💃🏽 ¡Hola a todos! Pues bien... ¿recuerdan cuando les dijimos que nos casaríamos el 18 de julio? Qué lindo. Qué adorable. Nos encanta esa versión de nosotros. Bueno... el universo tenía otros planes. A principios de diciembre, descubrimos que estamos esperando a nuestra primera bebé, ¡quien llegará apenas un mes después de nuestra fecha original de boda! 🍼🥹 ¿El momento oportuno? Cuestionable. ¿Emocionante? ¡Por supuesto! Tras considerar brevemente la idea de hacerlo todo a la vez (una boda grande + preparativos para el recién nacido + falta de sueño), decidimos ser realistas... y un poco menos caóticos. Así que tendremos una boda pequeña e íntima en el registro civil, junto a nuestra familia directa. PERO NO ENTREN EN PÁNICO: ¡nadie se quedará fuera de la fiesta! La gran celebración sigue en pie para el próximo verano y contará con: Una renovación de votos Una pista de baile abierta Y una invitada VIP pequeña 🩷 Así que, mientras tanto, vayan desempolvando su español, empiecen a trabajar en su resistencia y prepárense... porque la fiesta en México sigue en pie; y, sinceramente, es probable que ahora sea incluso mejor.
