Will there be transportation?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for their transportation to and from the wedding. If local or staying downtown, we recommend a taxi or rideshare service (Lyft, Uber). Jan Serr is located downtown Milwaukee in the East Side neighborhood and on-site parking is limited.

Will there be parking?

Answer

The venue does not have a dedicated parking lot, and there are a range of public parking options. For those driving, please allow for adequate time to park (doors open at 4PM for 4:30PM ceremony). Options in the area include: 1. Street Parking: Street parking is available on Prospect Ave. and in the neighborhood surrounding Jan Serr. If metered parking, the app 'MKE Park' allows you to pay directly from your phone. 2. Parking Garage at 2160 N Farwell Ave: Enter at the 1st garage opening with 'public parking' sign above the entrance. Be sure to pay at the pay station before heading to Jan Serr (5 minute walk). 3. Kenilworth Lot at 2139 N Prospect Ave: Small surface public parking lot located near venue. See 'Securing Parking USA' sign on building for payment (1 minute walk). 4. Parking Structure at 2401 N Maryland Ave: This is a public parking structure at Prospect Medical Commons, which is associated with Columbia St. Mary's Hospital (6 minute walk).

Can I bring a guest or kids?

Answer

All guests will be indicated by name on the envelope and noted in your RSVP. We have chosen to make our wedding adults only with the exception of our immediate family. We thank you for understanding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal cocktail attire. This includes short or long dresses, a suit and tie or a sport coat.
