FAQs

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We will not be having a wedding registry. Instead, we will have a "Honeymoon Fund" via CashApp and other sites to use for our honeymoon. Further information about these sites will be listed at a later date. If you have any questions, please reach out to potterwedding12@gmail.com

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to the nature of our reception and venue restrictions, we will not be able to accommodate having children attend our wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding theme is a 'whimsical/fantasy party' and so we ask that you get a little creative and colorful with your semi-formal wedding attire. Think pastel colors, linen trousers, summer suits (jacket and tie optional). We will also be sending our wedding theme colors with your invitations! We would love to have everyone dressed in attire similar to our theme but if that is not something that is able to be done, please strive for Easter Sunday attire.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we cannot predict the weather for our special day, our location is a very open area that allows a lot of sunlight. The weather around the time of year our wedding is being held is typically between 70 and 84 degrees F with medium to high levels of humidity.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We would appreciate everyone arriving about 15 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to start.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside as long as the weather permits so. Our reception will take place indoors with the option for outdoor seating.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We will be having an UNPLUGGED wedding ceremony, so please make sure your device is off or silent. There will be a time after the vows and kiss for guests to be able to take their own photos, but please DO NOT post anything until after the bride and groom have posted on their own accounts.

Question

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

Our ceremony will last about 15 to 20 minutes (starting at about 4 p.m.), and the reception will be held for the remaining time we have at our venue (10 p.m.). Bridal party members will be directly contacted for specific times to arrive to get ready, etc.

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

Our reception needs to be cleaned up and everyone needs to be heading out by 10 p.m. - there will not be an after-party.
