Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. We will be outside as the weather permits.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes Trillium has a large, lighted parking lot with several handicapped spots and a pull-up overhang so guests can be dropped off at the door if they choose.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer named Christopher Deau who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure you see those photos as soon as we do! We're respectfully asking that everyone leave all cameras and cell phones off during the ceremony. With this in mind, we ask that you refrain from photos or videos during the ceremony; for the reception? Go wild!

Can I post online?

We respectfully ask that you wait until Monday, June 29th to post any pictures from the event to give us enough time to make our own post first! We are excited to see what photos you've taken, so feel free to message them to us too.

Are you having a reception?

Answer

The reception will follow the ceremony at Trillium Catering and Event Center. We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and dessert. You can view the full menu below. The reception will end promptly at 11pm.

What's the bar situation?

Unfortunately, we have chosen a cash bar, so please bring cash or a credit card to enjoy bar service.

What's the plan for cocktail hour?

Answer

While the wedding party is off taking some pictures, the couple has planned a lovely cocktail hour for everyone else! Meander to the reception tent, grab a drink (reminder: cash bar), enjoy some yard games, and mingle. There will also be light passed hors d'oeuvres such as: Mini BLTs - Smoked bacon, crispy iceberg and roma tomato, with herb aioli on grilled focaccia. Caprese Skewers - Sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil with balsamic vinaigrette. Gluten-free. Vegetarian. Smoked pork “taco” - House smoked pork, crispy corn tortilla, cilantro crema, and pineapple salsa

What's for dinner?

Answer

When you RSVP, you will have the option of selecting a beef, chicken, or vegetarian meal. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know. The planned meal is as follows, though the venue/caterer doesn't let us lock anything in until 30 days before the event, so details are subject to change. Prime Rib - Sea salt and herb crust, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, honey glazed baby carrots, herb jus and horseradish sauce. Gluten-free. Chicken Marsala - Sauteed herb dusted chicken breast, mushroom marsala cream, three grain pilaf, green beans almondine. Grilled Vegetable and Quinoa Ragout - Eggplant, zucchini, portobello, quinoa, chickpea ,and caramelized veggies. Gluten-free and vegan.

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, so please do not feel obligated to get us anything. However, if you're feeling particularly generous there are some things we'd love to have as newlyweds on our registry! You can find it on the upper right hand side of the menu.
