When Anna and I became roommates by chance in 2021, I didn't know how much she would change my life. Even though we don't live together anymore, she luckily only lives across the street and I cannot imagine experiencing life without her by my side. She is not only my Maid of Honor and best friend, but also holds the title of matchmaker, as she introduced me to Eric!
Grant Kros
Best Man
Grant, aka the best brother ever, is Eric’s best man. To their parents surprise, Grant & Eric remain close after enduring competitive basement ping pong, wresting, and basketball tournaments. Grant lives 10 minutes away from Eric and Kyra, with his wife, Kate, and their two children. Eric enjoys his role as the “fun Uncle” and hasn’t learned how to say no to his nephew and niece.
Megan McGillis
Bridesmaid
Megan and I have been friends since college! We have shared so many wonderful memories together, including but not limited to sharing our final months of college living together during covid lockdown, exploring each others cities when we both moved to the east coast, and dishing over book series together. She is a gem of a friend and I hope to one day convince her to move back to the East Coast ;) Megan currently lives in Los Angeles.
Luke Doherty
Groomsman
Luke Doherty and Eric met in college and lived together senior year at their college house known as the “Ranch.” The pair usually found themselves in good trouble at the Bull, the Wheel, or the Hawk. The two would fight over the affection of their friend Joey’s dog, Charlie, who lived at the Ranch. Luke lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
Kelsey Schilz
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I have been friends since junior of college. We quickly bonded over a desire to leave events on the early side and split our favorite fries at the local Davis burger joint. Since college, we have continued to make many fun memories through visiting each other on both coasts! She is an amazing friend and someone I can always rely on for encouragement, help planning trips and projects, and a fun board/card game. Kelsey currently lives in Los Alamitos.
Alex Bonney
Groomsman
Michael Alex Bonney, known to most as Bonney, was a fraternity brother of Eric’s at the University of Kansas. Bonney & Eric became close when they both interned in Washington, D.C. the same summer and as poor college students found entertainment going to Grant’s pool every weekend. Bonney & Eric were roommates after college. Eric’s love of New Jersey comes from two things, the Sopranos and visiting Bonney’s childhood home near the Jersey Shore. Bonney lives in Washington, D.C.
Carmen Blum

I knew within 5 minutes of meeting Carmen, that we would along so well. I am so so grateful to have her as my step-sister! Carmen has the most kind, warm, bubbly personality, and gives the BEST hugs in the world. Carmen currently lives in San Diego.
Ryker Dischler
Groomsman
Ryker is a close friend of Eric’s and the pair met freshman year of high school. Ryker & Eric enjoyed racing each other to classes freshman year and Eric famously was there when Ryker asked his now-wife, Laura, out on a first date that freshman year. Ryker & Laura live in Omaha, Nebraska with their two children.
Marina Blum

Marina has treated me like a sister from the moment we met and I am so grateful to have her as my family. We have made so many wonderful memories in the past 8 years, from trips to Mexico, hunting for mussels, and wonderful holiday celebrations. Marina currently lives in Berkeley.
Jack O'Malley
Groomsman
Jack O’Malley and Eric met in high school and share a love of Nebraska football. The two still remain friends after competitive Creighton/Kansas basketball games. The pair reminisce on their high school cross country days visits to very classy college bars like the Hawk, the Bull, and the Jay (gone but not forgotten). Jack lives in Omaha, Nebraska.
