We met due to a crazy matter of circumstances. One afternoon, Lexi found Tim on Bumble and bravely asked, “What’s your go-to coffee spot in the area?” The conversation started there and the rest is history! They found out they had many mutual friends and a lot in common. After a few weeks of messaging, Tim finally asked her out on a date! They found themselves at Oasis Cafe chatting the afternoon away. A month passed with love in the air and Tim asked Lexi to be his girlfriend. They road-tripped out to Colorado not long after and a 2-day trip turned into a week-long extravaganza in the Rocky Mountains. On the day before they left, as they ran down the Red Rocks staircase, Tim knew he found the love of his life.

A year later, they found themselves gazing into the sparkle of a diamond ring on Lexi’s finger. Tim’s grandparents, Nana and Papa, kindly accompanied them. After some browsing, they found the perfect ring. A princess-cut diamond on a solid gold band. A few months later, Tim made a plan to buy the ring at Mueller’s Jewelers. He dropped off his phone at the repair shop, grabbed his camera, and drove to the jeweler. She had no idea!

Another 3 months passed and they traveled to California to film for Sarah Yates. On the final evening of the trip, Tim hadn’t proposed yet, so Lexi thought it would happen another time. It was a late night for Tim as he packed the luggage, ready to fly home, after one stop in the morning of course. ;) Before he went to sleep, he left a note for Lexi to read when she woke up. The next morning Tim and Jeffery, Sarah’s husband, left early for Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. Sarah woke Lexi up shortly after the guys left and handed her the note. Lexi was so surprised! They made their way to Sunset Cliffs where Tim was waiting with the ring. She said YES! They flew home as the newly engaged couple with champagne to celebrate on the plane. Friends and family welcomed them home with a surprise celebration!
