What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM at Focal Point Beer Co.! Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive and be seated so you don’t miss the beginning of our celebration. Dinner, drinks, and dancing will follow immediately after our ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

FOCAL POINT BEER CO. DOES NOT HAVE A PARKING LOT OR DESIGNATED GUEST PARKING. Free street parking is available around the venue, but finding a spot can be a bit of an adventure (limited and not guaranteed) and spaces can be a tight squeeze. If you plan to rely on street parking, be sure to give yourself PLENTY (we can't stress this enough) of extra time to search for a spot. Also, make sure you're comfortable parallel parking! The best option is to pre-book one of the nearby paid parking garages, many of which allow you to reserve a spot online in advance for added convenience. Is there a dress code?

Come dressed to impress! Formal or cocktail attire requested — black tie not necessary.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of space limitations, we’ve had to keep our guest list limited to those specifically named on each invitation. If your invitation does not include an additional guest's name or say "and guest," we kindly ask that you join us on your own. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Are kids welcome?

While we LOVE all your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an ADULTS-ONLY celebration. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to let loose and enjoy a night out with us.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel blocks and our celebration?

Answer

Party all night guaranteed! Rides? Not included. Uber, Lyft, public transportation, and free street parking have your back—travel safely and responsibly!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved room blocks with discounted rates at The Ravel Hotel and Aloft Long Island City. You can find booking details under the Travel section of our website. There are also several other hotels in the general vicinity of Focal Point Beer Co. that you are welcome to explore as well.
