The First Date

November 4th 2016

They met on a online dating site and had been chatting since late october. Aaron was working overnights and Elizabeth was working afternoon shifts so there was not much time to see each but Aaron still asked. He had her over for Breakfast after work. He made her eggs, bacon toast and fruit. He also had a boquet of pretty flowers sitting on the table for her. They talked for hours really hitting it off before She had to head to work for the day.

Making it offical

“Will you be my girlfriend?” Aaron asked after their 4th date. Of course she agreed

The big question

March 6th 2020

Fast forward a little over 3 years. Aaron had bought the ring a little over a week ago and had it hidden so she hopefully wouldn’t find it. (Even though he told her that he was going to the jewlery store to by her something nice for her birthday which was a week earlier, so she thought maybe). They had just gotten Eve back from her mother’s so they were all 4 (Aaron, Elizabeth and his 2 children) going out to dinner at Applebee’s for Elizabeth’s birthday. Once they had ordered Aaron actually forgot the ring back in it’s hiding place so he had to make an excuse to run back home to grab it. Elizabeth never noticed that he left the parking lot. After he hot back the ate and had a great time talking all together. The girls (they later found out) actually had a bet going on if it was hoing to happen tonight. Aaron had asked them previously how the felt about him asking her to marry him and they both liked the idea. After dinner they all headed back out to the car. Aaron opened her door and get her in then went around to the driver side and got in. The girls were in the back seat talking. Aaron asked Elizabeth for the package that was sitting on the dash. Behind it he had hidden the small black ring box. Elizabeth asked “what is this?” Aaron responded “what do you think it is? Open it!” She slowly opened it and inside was her beauitiful diamond ring. “A ring?” She asked. “It’s a will you marry me ring” he said. Rose (the older daughter) just started crying in the back seat she was so happy. “Babe really? Elizabeth questioned. “Yes really will you please marry me?” She said YES and now here we are a year later getting ready for their big day

For all the days along the way
