The Wedding of Emilie & Christopher

FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive your wedding invitation, you’ll be able to RSVP in one of two easy ways: -Scan the QR code included on the invitation, which will take you directly to our wedding website’s RSVP page, or -Visit our wedding website and click the RSVP tab once it goes live. From there, just follow the prompts to enter your name and respond for each invited member of your household.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 12:30 PM so you have plenty of time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the service begins.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have secured room blocks at two nearby hotels, and you can find all the details—including discount links—on the Travel/Hotels page of our website. Please note that August is an extremely busy travel month in the area, and the 2026 Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course is scheduled for the same day as our wedding. Hotels will book quickly, so we strongly encourage you to reserve your room as early as possible.

Question

Is there scheduled transportation?

Answer

We won’t have scheduled transportation for guests. Guests can park at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony, then drive to either of the hotels to check in afterward. From there, both hotels are just a short walk to the venue for the start of cocktail hour. If you need a ride later in the evening, Troy has plenty of Ubers available for a quick trip home.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available throughout the day. Franklin Plaza offers parking in front of the building, behind the venue, and ample free street parking nearby, as well as parking at the hotel for overnight guests. For the ceremony, guests are welcome to park in the large parking lot at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.

Question

Can my kids come?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be limited to children of close family, which will be noted on the invitation. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration, and we’re so grateful for your understanding!
