FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive at the Seyon Lodge between 16:30 and 17:00. 10/29-10/30: On the Wednesday and Thursday before the wedding, Diego is taking the day off of work. I will still have some errands to run and some work meetings to attend. Anyone who is flying into Burlington can take the bus to our house, rent a car, or let us know when you'll be arriving so we can try to coordinate picking you up.

Question

When is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be at 17:30.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please do not bring a plus one, children, or anyone who you did not RSVP for. Our wedding is very small and our venue can only accommodate the exact amount of people who RSVP'd.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our favorite question. The dress code is formal. Wear your best! Don't feel like you need to spend too much money, though. We cherish creativity and thriftiness. If you'd like to be creative with your dress (which we would love), the overall aesthetic of the wedding could be considered Victorian meets Rococo.

Question

Bachelor/bachelorette party

Answer

The bachelorette party in Groton is CANCELLED. Instead, we will be doing stuff all together on Wednesday and Thursday night. On Wednesday, we are thinking we all go play lazer tag. On Thursday, we can split up into the rom-com group and the brewery group (or something).

Question

What are the accommodations?

Answer

Our house will be very full of guests, and people will be sleeping on the couch, on sleeping pads, etc. PLEASE BRING OR MAIL OVER AHEAD OF TIME YOUR OWN SLEEPING PAD! If you don't want to wake up early or sleep on the dining room floor and are coming from out of town, please make sure to find accommodations elsewhere in Burly. YOU ALL HAVE ROOM AT THE INN. Some of you may need to share a room (sorry, singles). If you are a single and unwilling to share, please find accommodation elsewhere. There are a few Airbnbs around. We don't know if the Seyon Lodge lets people camp, but we can find out.

Question

How am I getting from place to place?

Answer

Anyone who is flying into Burlington can take the bus to our house, rent a car, or let us know when you'll be arriving so we can try to coordinate picking you up. For all other travel, please rent a car or coordinate rides. We will not be able to assist folks in getting back to Burlington after the wedding, so make sure you talk to another wedding guest to carpool or work out another arrangement. We also will not be able to assist in that coordination. Get to know each other! Make a chat! Offer someone a ride!

Question

Food?

Answer

We'll provide meals Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Seyon Lodge. On Sunday, we are departing the Lodge after breakfast. We think probably around noon, but we'll see if we can negotiate for a little later. There is one public refrigerator at the lodge for any medications or snacks you'd like to bring for yourself.
