What is the theme/dress code?

Answer

The theme of our wedding is TEXAS DISCO! Please dress as you interpret that theme and have fun with it. We would love for everyone to go all out. Thrift shopping and/or splurging are encouraged. Feathers, sequins, sparkles, boots, bolos are all encouraged.

Is the theme for all weekend or just the wedding?

Answer

Mostly just the wedding. However, you are more than welcome to embrace the theme for Friday as well! Totally up to you. We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun with it.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

Yes! Keep in mind this will be a rowdy time so challenge by choice. If you want the excuse to leave kids at home, this would be a good wedding for that excuse.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you have been assigned a room, please call (830) 997-2185 to confirm your cabin by 2/15/2024. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to stay on site. Please visit the "Travel" page of our website for other hotel options and more information. Hotels are about 15 minutes away from the venue.

When should I plan to arrive/leave?

Answer

We are hoping most guests will stay for the weekend, Fri-Sun. We understand that cannot work for everyone's schedule or budget. We recommend staying Friday and Saturday night if possible. That is when all the festivities will be happening.

Is there a shuttle from the Country Inn hotel in town to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will not be provided. It's about 13 mins from town to the Lodge.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! You'll be able to park at your cottage or at The Lodge.

Indoor or Outdoor Wedding?

Answer

Ceremony is taking place outside unless the weather isn't ideal. Then, the ceremony will be indoors. The reception will be held indoors. There is a patio with furniture to enjoy the outdoors.

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

YES!! Isn't that awesome?! DOG POLICIES AND PROCEDURES (no other pets permitted): SMALL DOGS: Pets under 30# are $15.00/pet - one time fee. LARGE DOGS: Pets over 30# are $15.00/pet per night of your stay. 1) DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES when outside. 2) ALWAYS clean-up after your pet - even outside - there are small plastic bags available at the office. - - - - > You will be assessed a "clean up" fee if we must "pick up" for you. 3) In case of an "accident" on rug or carpets ~ please saturate a towel with water and keep the area wet. - - - - > Notify us immediately so we can have the stain removed before it sets. 4) NO PETS in POOL or SPA area 5) AGGRESSIVE DOGS OR EXCESSIVE BARKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and will require you to find alternative accommodations for the pet. 6) PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM: This allows housekeeping to enter your room. If your pet is not properly crated, your room WILL NOT be serviced. This also prevents damages from separation anxiety. 7) DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OR ON THE BEDS OR FURNITURE ~If pet hair, urination or feces is found in or on the bedding, rugs, furniture etc., you will be assessed charges for professional cleaning or replacement of the damaged items. For example, replacement of a bedding set can cost up to $800 in some units. **ALL PET DAMAGES AND CLEANING FEES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER** ---- **UNCLAIMED PETS WILL BE CHARGED UP TO $100 PER PET PER DAY!!!

On-site Cottage Info?

Answer

Reservations for the cottages require a minimum of Friday and Saturday night. Please reach out to Kristyn or Ashton if this will not work for you. You can extend your stay if you'd like. Just let the reservation team know when you call. To confirm your reservation, only 1 person per cabin needs to call to put a credit card on file. Payment will be due at check in the weekend of the wedding. If you need to split payment, we recommend one person pays and the rest Venmo the person that paid to avoid fees. You will check in at Country Inn Motel 1644 U.S. 290, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 in town, then drive out to the cottages. If you'd like to remote check in, there is an additional fee. Late check out is available for $40 to leave by 1pm. Ashton and I will late check out on Sunday 4/21.
