Go to your App Store and get the app AMR COLLECTION. Add Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya as your resort choice. It will give you ideas before you arrive on what you may like to do while spending your week at the resort. Everything from renting Bali Beds to scheduling a spa treatment to booking a wine or tequila tasting!

What is the latest protocol on Covid-19 testing for leaving the United States and re-entry?

Answer

Do you need to provide a negative COVID test to enter Mexico? In short: no. But you still need to complete a declaration of health, which asks general questions about your health and recent potential exposures to COVID. Regardless of vaccination status, everyone over the age of 2 will need to have a negative Covid-19 viral test to re-enter the United States no more than a day before your departure OR documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, before they board their flight. You will be able to make arrangements for the Covid-19 viral test with the concierge at the resort. You can do this at check in or anytime during your stay. The test is free. Be sure to take your passport to your test. It will take approximately 15 minutes for test results. Masks are required in common areas and before being seated at the dinner table.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants?

Answer

Some restaurants enforce a specific dress code. For example, Portofino and a few other restaurants require men to wear long dress pants and a collared shirt, and women to wear dresses or skirts and blouses. All restaurants and buffets prohibit men's muscle shirts and tank tops. Please use the AMR app to be sure you have specific items while packing.

What are the ocean conditions like at the resort?

Naturally, at this resort, the ocean water is very calm, making it safe for young children as well as the perfect spot for water sports and activities. Recently, a rock wall was built at this resort to keep out seaweed that can make Mexican beaches unswimmable at times. This rock wall has kept out unwanted seaweed, but also provided less waves for guests. If you are looking for a different experience during your stay, take a few steps to the left of the rock wall, or a few steps to the right, and find yourself engulfed in crystal clear water as you listen to the waves crash along the shoreline.

How many suitcases are we allowed to take to Mexico on Allegiant Air? What are the checked bag fees?

Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Chartered Flights 1st Checked Bag: Pre-pay for the first checked bag 3 days or more prior to departure for $25 per bag/per flight when booking with a travel agent or directly with your vacation provider. Baggage fees should be purchased based on the total number of checked bags needed for all traveling on the reservation. Please note that the number of checked bags should not exceed your reservation party size. Any passengers that do not pre-pay the baggage fee will be charged $30 per first checked bag/per flight at time of airport check-in (payable by credit card only). 2nd Checked Bag: Available based on space limitations at time of airport check-in. Checked bag restrictions – Effective for flights departing from Pittsburgh, the maximum will be 50lbs and not to exceed 62" combined overall length, width and height. Carry-on bag restrictions – Maximum 35lbs and not to exceed 22”x14”x9” . It must fit under the passenger seat or in the overhead bin space. First checked bag free with the purchase of Preferred Perks Plus or Premium Class optional seat selection (seat upgrades available in limited quanties on select flights) Bags weighing 51-99 lbs will incur an overweight baggage charge of $50 per bag in addition to any applicable checked baggage fee (per flight).
