We met in high school. Taylor just moved to Kitimat from Port Alice. He was in grade 11 and I was in grade 12. Taylor's Sister, Sydney, got it right when she told us that we would get married some day. That was the first time I met Taylors family at their home for dinner. Sydney was only 6 years old then. Children say the funniest things but most of it is truth. Skip to 2010 when we moved to Campbell River after I was done nursing school. 2 and a half years after that we bought our first home together. Taylor went to school to become an electrician. Fast forward to 2024 when we decided to move from a strata to a free standing home WAY bigger then our townhouse. Of course it was overwhelming and to add to the stress I found out I was pregnant a week before we moved in! Taylor proposed to me on new years day, after Hazel was born and 19 years after we met. And here we are, planning our wedding. It will be 20 years together January 15th/2026. We are so very excited to celebrate this day with our family and friends!
