Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us

Roxy Orozco

Maid of Honor

Rox is my consultant for all things makeup and fashion. I couldn't picture my wedding being perfect without her by my side. Although she is my little sister, I often find myself admiring her for her vibrant outlook on life. She's persevered through so much and I couldn't be more proud of her. We shared many growing pains, from fights over clothing and pizza rolls to becoming the best of friends and having each others back no matter the situation. I'm grateful we've developed our relationship to what it is now, even though we still fight over clothes from time to time, at least when it comes to food it’s over sushi instead of pizza rolls.

Jemal Esa

Groomsman

Jemal and I have shared many laughs, struggles, and accomplishments together since high school. From the class room to the football field and beyond as men, we have been brothers through it all. We always say that we owe each other our lives in jest but all jokes aside, I wouldn't be who I am today if my brother Jemal didn't show me as much love as he always has from the beginning of our friendship. Inshallah, whether I see him every day or once every harvest moon, the love and bond I feel for my brother will never fade. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without him as one of my groomsmen. Alhamdulillah.

Clarissa Ball

Matron of Honor

Clarissa means so much to me. Meeting her in middle school and having her friendship beyond that is such a blessing. Fast forward twenty years and I am so happy to still be able to call her my best friend. Our instant bond will last for the rest of our lifetime and we owe it all to Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, and bell bottom jeans. Dont ask. The love and laughs we share and the aches and pains we've teared away together all helped to keep our friendship inviolable. One of the sweetest, caring, and hardest working women I've ever met, she makes being a wife, a mom of two, and a woman with a full time job and a side business look effortless. I can only aspire to be half as graceful in my own life as she has been in hers.

Chris Fung

Groomsman

Chris is the little brother I never deserved. Our journey began at Burton High where we shed blood and tears together on the football field. Lil bro has stuck by me through all the bad relationship advise I'd given him over the years and I'm honored to have him stand next to me on one of the most special days of my life. Whether we paint the city red everyday of the week or just have a brew together once every giants season, my lil brother will always hold a special place in my heart. Blessed to have him be one of my groomsmen.

Nina Pena

Bridesmaid

My quirky, curly, amazing friend Nina has a whirlwind personality of fun and sensibility rolled together and is one of my best friends. Being both from the small town of redwood city we instantly found comfort in each other when we first met on a tour of USF where amazingly enough we both ended up attending college. From there we shared many adventures dancing the nights away while sometimes simultaneously writing papers, traveling to beautiful places, and easing back discussing our lives over a glass of wine, it all helped us grow to become the women we are today. No time for nonsense, she helps me see things with a sensible view when I sometimes find my self overwhelmed and I am so honored and thankful to have her share my most special day with me.

Mario Casillas

Groomsman

The love and respect between my brother Mario and I has been there since our days as little youngsters in high school. This man was willing to do it all for me in any situation as I was for him. We were the definition of young dumb and broke. With each other's love and support, we were able to persevere and rise above not just our environment but more importantly our own selves. We were dreamers then and now, and I couldn't be more blessed with an equal to push me to achieve more as he reaches his own dreams and goals. From every motorcycle ride up and down the coast of CA to every car we broke in and broke down on in the city, I know he will always have my back as I have his. I am grateful for having him as one of my groomsmen.

Justine Sink

Bridesmaid

Justine is one of the best people I know and I'm lucky to call her one of my best friends. Never the one to shy away from adventure, Justine has been one of my favorite travel buds over the past 10 years. From exploring mountains in Peru to becoming geishas in Japan, we've created so many memorable moments together. Knowing her since high school, Justine and I have been great friends for a while now and living with her only strengthened our friendship. She's a riot to be around and her quirk of collecting hot sauces as souvenirs from our adventures comes in very handy. She's tough as she is loving and I wouldn't trade our friendship for any other. I can't wait to have her by my side as I embark on a new journey in my life.

Ricardo Cisneros

Groomsman

I have an older brother but my brother Ric is definitely a welcome addition as another one of them. More than I care to admit, we couldn't be more different and at the same time alike. He's set on his ways, I tend to reinvent my self as I see fit, but we are both ambitious and driven to find success. Both too easily disappointed to not have the things we set our sites on, but he and I never let that deter us from our next mission. Moma's boys to the core but dont get it twisted, this "frisco homie aint no punk." Whether it's rags or riches much love will always be there between my brother and I. No other way to do it but have him be one of my groomsmen.

Kamilah and Maya Arteaga

Bridesmaid

These two beautiful young women are my little cousins but I definitely see them more like my sisters. We support each other and cheer for each other and I couldn't imagine my life without them. Both of them are intelligent, independent beautiful human beings and I love watching them both blossom into incredible young women. With their tenacity to achieve and their love for life, I see nothing but the brightest futures for them and I am so happy to be part of it. I am so excited and proud to have them both be my bridesmaids and I cant wait to celebrate more life with them!

Jarrel Phillips

Groomsman

Jarrel and I have known each other since high school, but we didn't become the friends we are now until after. Since then I've seen this man as my brother and that's something he'll be to me for life. Having him in my life has been a gift because he is one of the most self aware, no nonsense people I have around. Well educated and experienced in life in the short years we've had so far, my brother has helped me in my own journey by being a great example of where any person can take their lives through dedication and perseverance. From young knucklehead to the men we are now, I'm amazed at where his life is and excited to see where else he will take it. I am so happy and proud that he is one of my groomsman on the most special day of my life.

Ruben Bantilan

Groomsman

Knowing him since middle school, Ruben reminds me of a young coconut. Not so easy to get through on the outside with the tough exterior he puts on, but if you keep chipping at him by being a genuinely good person and a true friend he will eventually let you in to the reward of who he really is. A caring human being who will do for you beyond what most friends and family ever would. He parties hard when the occasion calls for it but works even harder than that to make sure his family is good. He deserves all the blessings that comes to him becasue he is a blessings in people's lives including mine. I couldn't be prouder to call him my brother and have him stand with me on my wedding day.

For all the days along the way
