The Battery is the edge of Charleston’s peninsula downtown, and includes a sidewalk that stretches roughly from Tradd Street to Water Street. History buffs will enjoy touring this retired naval aircraft that’s now a floating museum over in Patriot’s Point. Up on the flight deck, you’ll see examples of different aircraft that have landed on it in the past, and also get some pretty fantastic views of the Charleston Harbor.
The City Market is a historic market complex in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Established in the 1790s, the market stretches for four city blocks from the architecturally-significant Market Hall through a continuous series of one-story market sheds, the last of which terminates at East Bay Street.
The Angel Oak is located on Johns Island where you can find what is known as "A Lowcountry Treasure". The Southern Live Oak tree is a historical site and stands over 65 feet tall with a wide canopy. It is considered to be the oldest living and largest Live Oak tree east of the Mississippi River.
