Things To Do

For those looking for something to do, or perhaps places to eat, we've taken the time to list a couple of our favorites below. This list doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. Please do not hesitate to contact either of us for recommendations. :)

Anaheim Packing House

440 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California 92805

Repurposed historic packing house turned food hall with a variety of good eats and even better vibes. We recommend the Pop Bar and the Black Sheep Grilled Cheese Bar. To cap the night, have a drink at the Blind Rabbit. (P.S. it's hidden so you may have to ask for the entrance location :P)

Phantom Ales

1211 North Las Brisas Street, Anaheim, California 92806
, +1 714-225-3206

One of our favorite microbreweries in the OC. We recommend the meads but beware, they're strong!

Joe's Italian Ice

2201 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, California 92802
, +1 714-703-2100

An Anaheim staple! Be ready to wait in line, it's worth it! Our go to is the Joe Latti, either in the fuzzy wuzzy, dreamsicle, or chamoy flavors!

Disneyland Park

209 Main Street U.S.A., Anaheim, California 92802
, +1 714-781-4636

The happiest place on earth 🌎 ! The Rise of the Resistance ride is a can't miss. The fuzzy taun taun at Ogi's Cantina is also quite the treat.

Wursthaus

305-106 East 4th Street, Santa Ana, California 92701
, +1 714-760-4333

A popular gastropub with gourmet hot dogs and a good selection of brews. We recommend the spicy chicken mango on a grinder roll accompanied by drunken fries with bison cheddar sausage. To drink, Chimay Premiere or De Garre Belgian Tripel.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts

600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, California 92626
, +1 714-556-2787

Orange County's finest performing arts center. They have a little something for everyone, whether it's plays, musical performances, ballets, you name it!

Star BBQ - 별대포

8295 West Garden Grove Boulevard, Garden Grove, California 92844
, +1 714-530-5388

Our favorite Korean BBQ spot conveniently located near the reception venue! We love their marinated spicy pork.

Newport Beach Pier

1 Newport Pier, Newport Beach, CA 92663
, (949) 644-3309

Kristy will be the first to tell everyone that I never take her to the beach, however the handful of times I have its been to walk the Newport Beach Pier / Coastline.

La Super Birria

1041 West 1st Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703
, (657) 245-3810

Oh birria, probably one of the best hangover cures after a night of partying (not that we have it for that reason :P). All joking aside, this place is second to none in terms of their birria, otherwise know as shredded beef stew. We recommend the birra tour, the torta ninja, and the birra ramen.

Rooftop Cinema Club El Segundo

1310 East Franklin Avenue, El Segundo, California 90245

This one's a bit out of the way, but nothing quite beats watching a movie on a rooftop with backdrops of the Los Angeles skyline 🏙.

Taqueria El Zamorano

925 West Warner Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92707
, (714) 884-4073

This list wouldn't be complete without a bona fide taqueria. While tacos are dime a dozen in Santa Ana, if we had to pick one, we'd recommend Taqueria El Zamorano. They use fresh hand-made tortillas and their tacos are well proportioned (they're not street tacos). The al pastor and shrimp tacos are our favorites !

For all the days along the way
