We're getting married!

We met the modern way. Online LOL! We first met up to get drinks and get to know one another. After drinks we went for a walk down by the river under the moon light. The night ended too quickly but we already knew this was only the beginning to something great.

It all started with our first road trip. We were on our way to Niagara Falls, Ontario to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. The first two days there was normal sightseeing; beautiful weather with amazing scenery. That morning we took the Hornblower cruise up the river to the falls and followed that with the Journey Behind the Falls. Sporting our lovely yellow ponchos, we descended to the base of the falls. I was taking photos of everything, like usual, when Andrew asked me to set down our gear so we could take a selfie in front of the falls. After setting everything down by the railing I turned around to see Andrew down on one knee with the ring out. Between the roaring of the water and the ringing in my ears I didn't even hear him asking me to marry him. I was so surprised it took me a moment to finally say "YES!"
