Our story began back in 2014 during our eighth-grade year of middle school, when Kris sat behind Monique in theater class. What started as simple conversations and laughter in class soon grew into a friendship. As the years passed, life eventually took us in different directions, but somehow our story wasn’t finished yet. In 2021, we reconnected through social media and began catching up on everything we had missed. One coffee date quickly turned into another, and it didn’t take long for us to realize there was something truly special between us. What started as a middle school friendship had grown into a deep love, and on the evening of December 30, 2022, Kris proposed at Belton Lake surrounded by our family and closest friends. It was a moment filled with so much love, joy, and excitement — a memory we will cherish forever. We feel incredibly grateful that life brought us back to one another, and we are beyond excited to begin this next chapter together. Celebrating our wedding day surrounded by the people we love most means the world to us, and we cannot wait to share this unforgettable day with all of you.
