How and when should I RSVP?

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. This means outfits should be formal. For example: slacks, dress shirt, tie, dress shoes, heels, cocktail dress, floor-length gowns, etc. Color palette is summer into autumn. Think deeper tones because it's August!

What kind of weather can I expect?

Answer

Our wedding is on August 18th, which is typically a warmer month in Washington! However, we tend to cool down in the evening. During our outside ceremony you can expect high 70's and into the 80's. Our reception will be inside, so it might be a good idea to bring something light to throw on just in case!

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Swiftwater Cellars is an hour to an hour and a half drive from Seattle. It's a bit of a destination wedding in Cle Elum and we're asking guests to find transportation from Seattle into Cle Elum. If you are planning to stay at the Suncadia Resort for the weekend, they have a shuttle that will bring you to and from Swiftwater Cellars.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are asking that you do not bring a plus one unless it is already on your invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. Thank you for understanding.

What kind of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

During cocktail hour, appetizers will be passed around followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, vegan/vegetarian dishes, and salads. The buffet includes gluten and dairy free options.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar, but it will be limited to wine and beer during the reception.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to send us a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1158 140th Ave SE Bellevue, WA 98005. We will also have a wedding card box set up at our welcome table!

When should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We're asking that you arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony to give time for parking and finding your seat!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We understand how tempting it may be to take pictures during the ceremony, but are asking you to please refrain from taking pictures.
