WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

Joe and I have been on and off long distance for the past year and a half (Due to me being in Medical School in Poland). One thing we like to do is plan our next adventure once were able to see each other again….. It was his idea to go hiking at “our spot” aka the spots we’ve enjoyed hiking before! During the last year and a half we’ve hiked at Ferncliff Forest, Poet’s walk, the Hollywood Sign in California, and a few other places. On December 19th, 2021 , a day after I arrived back in NY, Joe planned for us to take the dog to Poet's walk. As we walked the dog (Drospy Boy) through the walking path that comes to an open field and up a small hill to a wooden gazebo I could tell Joe was acting strange. He was rubbing his hands and warming them up. I asked him if he wanted to hold the dogs leash. While he said no, he began to talk about all our conversations about one day being a fiance and how today was the day. He got down on one knee & popped the question under the Gazebo. I was in such awe that I didn't even fully let him speak and said “of course!” We hugged it out and screamed in excitement!!! I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone else!! I’m so thankful for Joe’s love for me and that he takes into account all of the places and things I like. He always puts others before himself and Im so thankful he chooses to forge a life with me.
