If this is your first time in Portugal, we've listed some of our favourite sights and restaurants in Porto and Lamego.

Vila Nova de Gaia
Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto District, Portugal
Cross over to Gaia in the afternoon, explore the mercado or get on the six bridges boat tour,

This place makes the BEST pastel de nata (according to the bride). Right across the street from this cafe is the farmer's market which is also worth a peek.
Matosinhos Beach
Avenida General Norton de Matos, Matosinhos, Porto 4450-208, Portugal, +351 936 363 446
Portugal is known for their bright sunny weather and beautiful sandy beaches. Praia de matosinhos is just one of the many spots you can visit for a dip and a tan.
Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios
Lamego, Viseu District 5100-025, Portugal, +351 254 655 318
This stunning historic baroque chapel can be reached via a staircase with 686 steps. That's more than three times the one in Covent Garden station. Definitely recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
