He said the first hello
I finally said yes. Our first date was at Starbucks in Temple City.
Our relationship became official & we also became Disneyland Anual Passholders!
Our main goal for the disney date was Star Wars Land & celebrating Daniel’s birthday. After stopping by Cantina for drinks, we decided to go look for a ride. We walked on the bridge and he told me to sit on the bench while he asks the photographer how long will they be in front of the castle. I was filming baby ducks walking by the bench and Daniel comes back, saying “Hey, so they won’t be here much longer, lets take our photo now while its daytime before the crowds.” We go in line, and when it comes to our turn, I stand to the right of Daniel, telling him “this is my good side!”. He then poses but then turns and gets on one knee, and opens up a box with a heart shaped ring. We could hear the people around cheering and clapping. I said YES with tears to Daniel in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. A surprise reservation was made at Tommorowland’s Skyline Lounge for a private view of Disneyland’s fireworks with drinks & dessert. We ended our magical day with sparks. Best Day Ever!
The Corona virus infected the first months of 2020. We wanted to see how life would be in June and make the big decision to keep the wedding date or postpone. However, it became a back and forth debate in our minds. As much as we wanted to keep our original special date, the safety of our family & friends became a huge priority. This lead to postponing our big Wedding to 2021 & we are very thankful to have understanding people in our lives.
