January 10, 2016 was the day we met in person, but let me back up a couple months and let me remind you this is from my (Kristine) point of view! I volunteered for several years with California Waterfowl Association (CWA), i met A LOT of people of the years of volunteering with several organizations and running my business and organization- so to add people on facebook i didn't know was no issue especially if they lived near me or from a company i had just worked with! Anyhow, one day i received a friend request from this guy who worked for CWA and in his picture was him and the Hunt Program Coordinator I had worked with many times before and I thought "hmm, doesn't look familiar but maybe i just don't remember him... Add." That's when it all began LOL!! For about 2 or 3 months he commented on everything, liked everything, i was like whoa dude! He asked me almost every weekend to duck hunt with him on his Staff Hunt days and I came up with every excuse not to go! I had only been hunting maybe a year or 2 and 1) wasn't confident and didnt want to make a fool of myself and 2) I was NOT about to meet some guy at 3 a.m. at some place i didn't even know (yes, i had a gun but that's beside the point! Id rather not have to kill someone LOL). We bagan texting each other and talking almost every day, i was like ok.. maybe he's not so bad! He's nice but kind of a butt! But who's not?! Fast forward to January 10th, it's a long story so if you want to know the whole thing- just ask haha! But this was the day we physically met and actually hunted together (by the way I drug my brother along! LOL). Moving right along! We went on a couple more hunts together and then it happened!.... He asked me to lunch and to go for drive to find some Tule Elk... and it wasn't a hunt day! It was then i said to myself "I feel like this isn't just a duck hunt anymore." He held my hand and I was like HE'S TOUCHING ME!!! There's so much more to the story but I only have 2000 characters to tell it ha
