Habersham Winery
Habersham Winery is one of the oldest and biggest wineries in North Georgia, and it is right in downtown Helen! We definitely recommend at least stopping by.
Mount Yonah Trailhead
Take a hike to the top of the mountain that will be the backdrop of our wedding ceremony. It is a relatively short trail of 4.2 miles total with a beautiful view.
Wolf Mountain Vineyards
If you have an extra day in town, take a trip down to Wolf Mountain Vineyards (about 40 minutes away) for a vineyard tour, wine tasting, and lunch. You can spend the rest of your afternoon walking around downtown Dahlonega or make it a wine tour and visit Montaluce, Frogtown and Three Sisters Vineyards!
Anna Ruby Falls
These beautiful waterfalls are in the Unicoi State Park. You can reach the falls via a 1/2 mile paved trail that leads from the parking lot to two viewing decks. You can also walk the 4.6 mile Smith Creek Trail, which connects the base of Anna Ruby Falls to Unicoi State Park.

If you have some time on your way in or out, spend a day exploring Atlanta! You can see some of our favorite places like the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, CNN Center, College Football Hall of Fame, Ponce City Market, the MLK historic site, or the new Center for Civil and Human Rights.
