Kristin and Zach met when Zach moved across the country from Charleston, South Carolina to start a job at Google. Zach remembers the first meeting they had together as he was immediately drawn to her, but Kristin has less recollection of this meeting. She soon grew to know exactly who Zach was. They were on the same team, and quickly started working closely together. While their friendship grew, Kristin knew he probably liked her as more than just a coworker but it took Zach some time to act on it. In December of 2016, Zach gathered enough courage to tell Kristin how he felt at the company Holiday party. Kristin, unfortunately didn't feel the same - and told him they should probably remain just friends. Zach, took this as a challenge and immediately started to plot how he could woo Kristin into a first date. Two months later on February 8th, 2017, Zach worked up more courage to ask Kristin on a proper date. She reluctantly said "Alright, I'll give this guy a shot". A week later, they went out on their first date to a comedy show in San Francisco. After that first date, Kristin knew Zach was the one. From then on, their love just continued to grow and two and a half years later Zach asked Kristin to be his wife!
