Good catch! We were legally married in a lovely little courthouse ceremony on September 13th 2024, but that was a small, unorganized, and somewhat impromptu event. This here is the real deal, which is slightly better organized and less impromptu, for all the loved ones.
Um... we were really bad about letting folks know. We didn't do any big announcements and then it got so late that announcing felt awkward and we continued procrastinating and we didn't remember who knew or who didn't know and... look, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, okay? But now there's this wedding celebration, so... yay!
Wilford: No. Eiteman-Pang is a long and complicated name that breaks some computer systems and doesn't fit in 10 squares for forms... but changing the last name across everywhere seems like a huge amount of effort for minimal gain. Kris: Nope. If we ever change our last names, it would probably be to something new and personally meaningful that we create together. In the meanwhile, Armstrong is still a badass last name that I'm happy to keep.
Instead of some level of formality, which sounds kinda boring, we'd rather encourage everyone to express themselves freely and comfortably with whatever outfit they think is the most *them*. Our goal is that everyone should be going in their own unique directions, whether that's casual or formal, conventional or unconventional. Whatever you want, so long as you are you.
Nope! Your presence is your present to us 💝
