Friday the 13th holds special meaning for many witches and modern pagans because it combines two symbols associated with feminine strength and intuition: Friday and the number 13. Friday has long been linked to Venus and goddesses such as Freya and Aphrodite, while 13 is connected to the lunar cycle, with roughly 13 full moons each year. Though often considered unlucky in mainstream superstition, many embrace Friday the 13th as a day of empowerment, magic, and positive energy.
We're keeping the guest list small, so we're limiting the celebration to those we've specifically invited. If you're not sure who your invitation includes, feel free to reach out - we'd be happy to clarify!
Dress to impress and come in your best attire! Formal wear isn’t required, but we kindly ask guests to avoid overly casual clothing such as shorts, flip-flops, or tank tops. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and ready to dance, celebrate, and enjoy the day with us!
The doors to the venue open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 4:30 pm. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the chapel and find a seat.
For those guests driving, there's complimentary on-site parking at both the ceremony and reception locations.
We welcome and encourage guests to take photos throughout the ceremony and reception. We simply ask that you remain present in the moment with us and be mindful not to obstruct or interfere with our professional photographers while capturing your own memories.
We will be live streaming our ceremony (https://littlechurchofthewest.com/livestream/) for those are unable to celebrate with us in person.
We will not be providing transportation for guests throughout the festivities as rideshare services are easily accessible.
An open bar will be available for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and for most of the reception. Toward the end of the evening, the bar will transition to a cash bar once our hosted bar hours conclude, so we recommend bringing cash or a credit card just in case.
Guests can enjoy a mix of iconic attractions, immersive art, and unique local experiences during their stay.
