Cheryl and Kristin are very alike from their love of cooking/baking to their creative side. Cheryl has always encouraged Kristin to embrace her passion for art and really helped her find that love from early arts and crafts, sewing to their annual Christmas baking Mother/Daughter day. She is such a loving, warm human being and will drop anything to help anyone she cares for. Kristin only wishes she will be the kind of mother Cheryl has shown to her through childhood to even now.
Marie Ushinski
Mother of the Groom
Nick has known Marie since birth. From then on, Marie was very nurturing in her upbringing of Nick and ensuring he was always taken care of. Marie always wanted Nick to be protected and for him to get what's best for him. Throughout all of life's ups and downs, they have always been there for each other which instills a particular kind of love that is unique with a mother/son relationship which Nick continues to cherish.

If you ever wondered where Kristin got her goofy sense of humor, look toward Mike. He probably is one of the funniest people she knows, yet it only shows when you really get to know him. He encourages her to be herself and to achieve anything she sets her mind to. He has taught her good work ethic, but more importantly how to create and show your daughters true love and support. He has always been there for Kristin - every soccer game, ballet recital and even her need for dessert - like he would argue with that!

Similar to Marie, Nick has also known Bob all of his life. Though Bob shaved his facial hair at an early age, Nick strives to maintain a strong sense of facial hair. Regardless, Bob was also Nick's employer from a very early age. This had helped Nick garner a strong work ethic that has helped him throughout life. Not only for work, but with everything else one would encounter. Nick couldn't imagine where he'd be in his life without the foundation Bob had laid out for Nick. You could say, Bob "paved the way".

Sister of the Bride Kristin has always looked up to Kimberly whether stealing her clothes to look cool to wanting to hang out with her every second of every day. They have always had such a special bond with so much love and admiration for each other and has grown even stronger through time. She is not just her sister but her role model and best friend - someone you can joke with, cry with, lean on or just have a glass of wine to chit chat. She inspires Kristin to be better all every level. Loving her is too easy.
John Ushinski
Best Man
Brother of the Groom John is Nick's older brother. John and Nick built such an incredible bond in their youth. Watching anime, playing trading card games, or beating each other up was a regular occurrence in their house. A lot of Nick's passion for all things nerdy roots back to John and Bob. Nick will always remember passing the controller back and forth as they played video games and fantasizing about their next adventure. Nick always looked up to his older brother and continues to do so in Nick's old age.

Kristin's Childhood Friend Kristin met Jenny when they were only two years old. Not many people can say you've had a best friend for almost your entire life. We have been there for each other through all the major life events: kindergarten, dance classes, our first boy/girl parties, graduation, wedding and babies (well for her!). I couldn't imagine life without her - she is the kind of friend who sticks by you through everything and will be there for you in minutes if you need her. Everyone needs a Jenny.

Best Woman
Sister of the Groom Michelle is the first born of the three original Ushinski siblings. With being so far ahead of Nick in life, Nick would watch Michelle and aspire to be like her when he grew up. Michelle unlocked another side of Nick that may have not been discovered without her. Michelle has been there with Nick every step of the way as he blossomed into the person he has become today and he would be a completely different person without the wisdom and advice she has shared with Nick throughout the years.

Kristin's College Friend Kristin met Allison during her freshman year at SCAD. They became instant friends. Through the years, their friendship has grown even deeper from the many visits to NYC/Boston, traveling to several European countries to even to their weekly facetimes chats. Ally makes Kristin laugh through anything and is the perfect friend who will always be there and will drop anything for you in your time of need - whether good or bad. She's one in a million.

Brother-in-Law of the Groom Josh is Nick's second brother and his favorite muppet. It's hard to believe there was a time in Nick's life before Josh entered the picture. From Josh's marvelous cocktails to dancing in his smoking robe, there was never a point where Nick didn't feel like Josh wasn't a part of his family. Josh is a trendsetter and Nick is always hopping aboard the Josh bandwagon. Nick adores the relationship between him and Michelle and it is one Nick constantly admires.

Kristin's College Friend Katie was Kristin’s freshman year roommate at SCAD. They clicked right from the start, even though they are very different! Their differences bring out more in the friendship and definitely make it even stronger! They’ve done so much together from internships, traveling to Iceland to seeing the Red Sox! Katie is so warm and caring. She can always make you smile and bring you up in any situation. Kristin is so lucky to have a lifelong friend in her.

Nick's College Friend Nick doesn't exactly know when him and Steve met in college, though, Nick does remember getting a FaceBook friend request from Steve and thinking that Steve looked like a dingus. Nick and Steve first attended PAX East 2010 together with mutual friends and they blossomed into a beautiful couple from there. Steve is the epitome of cool and can light up a room on his (albeit late) entry. Whether it's collecting prints, playing video games, or visiting the local dairy farm, there lays a bond that cannot be broken.

Kristin's College Friend Sara was Kristin’s roommate for her Jr and Sr year at SCAD. Sara and Kristin have always had a special relationship from their love of green beans to always being there for each other, even when Sara moved to Australia – they always kept in touch! Sara is so devoted to the people she cares for and has shown it in so many ways toward Kristin. She holds such a special place is Kristin’s heart and is such a once in a lifetime friend.
Matt Fenn

Nick's College Friend Matt met Nick during his freshman year of college and they lived in the same suite. Matt may be Nick's biggest friend, but what you'll find is a big bundle of love. Matt has a radiating love and always cares for his friends and family first. Matt has been Nick's longest running gaming buddy and have been playing together for over a decade. They're an unlikely duo, but even though Matt can put back a dozen beers and Nick can barely handle his milk, they'll be together forever.

Niece of the Bride Sophia is the love of Kristin's life....sorry Nick! Having a Niece is probably one of the best and most special things you can experience. The love Kristin has for Sophia is so deep - so much so she needs to see her almost every week just to see that beautiful smile! They have such a special bond from their love for baking, their Auntie hugs and cuddles to the loads of art and crafts they do together. Kristin can't wait to see Sophia's vibrant energy at the wedding, especially on the dance floor!

Niece of the Groom River is Nick's oldest niece and daughter of Michelle and Josh. River is a lover of donuts and all things chicken. She is secretly a nerd who does all of the nerdy things without wanting to be a nerd herself. Nick enjoys their sleepovers together and enjoys seeing the passion River has for everything. As long as she still wants to keep losing to Uncle Nick (who won't let her win), then Nick will keep playing another round with her as long as she stops eating Nick's curly fries.

Brother-in-Law of the Bride Maxwell is the brother Kristin never had when growing up. They even argue and joke like siblings - can you believe it?! He has always stood up for her and always had her back when she has needed him the most. Maxwell even welcomed Nick (by running his plates) to the family with open arms. Through hang outs, boating at the Cape to many whiskey drinks - their brotherly bond grew stronger. There was no question that they wanted to ask Maxwell to marry them. His demeanor, gracious presence and speech were the perfect fit and being able to throw in some laughs and personal touches would be a great addition to the ceremony!
