Proposal
It started out like most of our trips, (we love to travel!) and we took a train ride through the snow to the Grand Canyon. While looking around we found a bench to sit and admire the beauty of it all. Nico took out a book and said he had something for me. He is a writer and assuming he wrote a book I was upset he didn't tell me sooner. The book was blank with no cover and I didn't notice on the spine he had written 'Our Love Story'... (sneaky) I opened up the book and inside was a sweet message and behind the message in the carved out book with a ring! It was a wonderful surprise and when I looked up he was on one knee and proposed. After our fun day at the Grand Canyon, the next surprise was a trip to Laughlin where we spent and enjoyed our engagement by the river. It was simple and sweet and will never be forgotten!
