Rush Creek Lodge is around a 3 hour drive from Sacramento International Airport, and 6-7 hours from Los Angeles (depending on traffic). While we have had no issues relying on GPS navigation, having a downloaded or printed map of the area is always ideal when traveling through the mountains. Yes! We have room blocks for June 14-16 with a discount code, but you are welcome to and encouraged to come on Thursday and/or stay on Sunday (we will be). There are also various places to stay near and in the park; however, booking can be tough so make sure to do this way in advance.
If you don't want to stay at Rush Creek, there are quite a few other lodging options within 20 minutes from the property. Evergreen Lodge is Rush Creek's sister property. They offer fully furnished cabins with a restaurant and tavern, as well as other ammenaties, on site. Evergreen is about 15-20 minutes from Rush Creek. https://www.evergreenlodge.com/yosemite-cabins/ Hodgdon Meadow Campground lies within Yosemite NP, less than a 10-minute drive from Rush Creek Lodge. Reservations are required, and details can be found at the link below. There are SO many things to do at the lodge and in/near the park.
