How we met

It was October 2017 when Mike stumbled on Kristin's incredibly charming online dating profile and had to send her a message (he denies this version of events, but he absolutely messaged her first). They exchanged flirty messages for a few days, mostly about romantic things like meat raffles and mini golf. On Bills bye-week 2017, they decided to meet at the New York Beer Project, and, after stealing a table from the waitress, skipped all the small talk, and got right down to every taboo first date topic there was. After ordering a second (and maybe third) round, they both knew there was something special. Kristin even went home that night and told her mom "I don't know what happened, but something's different about that guy." Within a few dates, they knew they'd each found their "person." Fast forward to a year and a half later, and they were headed to Lake George. They were going on a dinner cruise the second night, so they spent the first day hitting up every mini golf gift shop they could find to search for flasks. After hiking Gore Mountain the next day and getting detoured, they barely made the boat for the cruise. A few (ish) beverages, a man telling them that "they looked like the kids from the Titanic," and lots of awkward dancing later, Mike disappeared and left Kristin hanging out with an older couple they had met earlier. Little did she realize, Mike was busy stealing the microphone (and the show) from the DJ and did the deed. She said yes, and now they're on their way to their happily ever after. We're so happy to be spending our big day with you all!
