It all started in fourth hour Innovative Presentations class at Bemis Junior High, where a teenage Kristin first spotted Les and thought, "Well, he's cute." From that moment on, their paths kept crossing in the best ways. At Henry Ford II High School, they stayed within the same circle of friends, slowly building a connection that would one day turn into something lasting. By senior year, Les and Kristin were "talking" (as the high schoolers say) every day, but it wasn’t until May 1, 2012, that Les made it official and asked Kristin to be his girlfriend. That date would go on to mean a lot more than just their anniversary. Since then, they’ve truly grown up together—navigating long-distance during college, buying their first home in a new city, raising their little family of dogs, and making unforgettable memories while traveling side-by-side. Every step has been an adventure, made better by having each other. Now, more than a decade later, Les and Kristin are so excited to celebrate their next chapter surrounded by the people they love most. And yes—on May 1st, of course.
